An Additive
Beauty and Hopelessness, crouching at the coffee table,
Both wearing naught but their skin,
Writing raw words, crying solid tears.
~
Home cannot bear to witness the sight.
She sits, wrapped in a fresh linen bathrobe
as she watches the two pummel each other with daggered words.
~
Time sneaks up behind them,
clad in black velvet,
hardly making a noise at all.
~
Reunion stands at the window watching them,
The wind rolls through the holes in his mittens but he feels nothing.
She has him in her bare arms.
