Mark the New

It starts as something you don’t want to go to. You put off asking because of the unsure feelings towards it… it will be crowded… it will be filled with unknown people… you will only be there for a short while anyway…

You go. After all, it is not for you.

It turns out that you have a great time, saying good-bye to the loved one. Life will be stark naked without her… something you do not want to think about. She will always be an e-mail or a facebook message away. She is still out there and she will come back… but not having her here is a difficult thing to understand.

She is gone, and I am unhappy. But she is having a grandiose time, and I will follow suit.
