Secrets and whispers.
It starts small with words and colours exchanged and after a while, you find it becomes something so much more, just leaps into existence.
To drive fast can be dangerous because you cannot truly be aware of all the stimuli around you or oncoming traffic either, for that matter. Why not keep it to a steady click and accelerate only when necessary?
Though at the end of the day when you're lying in bed on your side looking out the rather picturesque windows at the sky and stars beyond the glass, you think of things other than the mechanic turning of wheels and come to associate more with the blood and guts behind the exterior.
Steps must be taken and tread lightly. None of this leaping onto eggshells business, how is that safe?
But is safety what you truly desire, wish and long for? Or do you want to hit that gas pedal and hope that your seatbelt is there to catch you should your courage fail?
I was reminded of a word yesterday in a lecture (though not in class) - balance. It's not just with work and play, its with reality and fantasy. Don't live solely in one and neglect the other, for things could either become so monotonous and grey or too psychedelic and artsy that the truth will be distorted.
Dream it but live up to your word also. And at the end of the day, take a nap.
