Just sitting, waiting, wishing...

I have terrible patience. The worst bit is when one asks God for greater patience, He proceeds to put you through ordeals which stretches you to be better. I.e long, exhausting, arduous situations which, while the end may justify the means, take forever and a century to be over with. It seems that both the initial state as well as the process of overcoming this state, in turn, are so full of impatience that being around the learner is a feat. Though supposedly the end is a substantial thing. Why does this take so long?!
